Again, you played a great game, I thought that a “slow lion” win couldn’t be pulled off and you made me gamble on the Eastern front. Plus when you wiped out C. US and guaranteed W. US for Japan I thought the game was over for me… So plenty of thrills!
Lets see if we can get another game going in three weeks time. 8-)

I really enjoyed the game in the pacific side of the map this time. It seems like we have always focussed too much on “Europe first”. Two additional US carriers and a couple of DDs, smartly used, were enough to contain Japan - which isn’t actually that much of an investment for the US, if you think about it. It made the game much more exiting than the usual “get the 4 islands, go for one of the 4 victory cities, and hope that the US hasn’t settled Europe by then” way of playing it.
