National Advantages

This is an easy one. Let the Allies pick out the Axis advanteges and let the Axis pick the Allied advanteges. I bet they both will find the crapy ones of equil value.

I dunno.  Basically it just says that infantry can move two zones like tanks and may blitz.  Not overly useful for America, but it does help.

Actually it doesn’t seem to specify in either version that you must declare French Resistance the first time Western Europe comes under Allied control.  Could be the first time, or on any subsequent recapture, but only once in total.

For OOB it seems to be declarable at the moment of Allied capture; for LHTR, declarable during UK’s Mobilize Units phase if W.Eur is under Allied control.

Some are just cheap, though, like the Superfortresses. Since fighters can’t intecept SBR’s, you can bomb at will with America, while being perfectly content to lose nothing.

There has been some extended discussion of adding additional nations in the House Rules area, which would be the correct venue for such discussions :-)

Variant 3 will make subs more or less useless against a Japanese fleet with at least one BB. So I think it is better to not mess up too much with the rules and vote for variant 2 or 1. In plain english, it is not worth fixing a rule that is supposed to fix another one. Things can get too complicated if one does! :wink:

Maby this advantage is better than all other suggested before!

Tiger Tanks
A single Tiger tank could halt the advance of a complete armoured division. These tanks were massively protected and had an extremely powerful anti-tank gun, which were more than adequate to deal with any allied armoured fighting vehicle of that time.
Every third tank you have in each combat cycle, attack or defend on a 4.
