if you are on the map you can hit the help icon and go to game notes and the directions are rite there.
you most likely didn’t want to attack india in the first round. by doing that you pretty much invited the us into the war. if you don’t hit uk when your the japs us cant do anything until after the third round. they also only have 52 to spend by hitting them they get bonuses the directions can help you with all the bonuses so you can just bring up the map, (you don’t have to go in to our game to do this) you can just start a solitaire game and read the directions there. you don’t even have to chose sides either.

don’t forget you have to be at war to get your national objective bonuses. like Russia for example
Yes i read it , but it says
USA cannot go to war against the Axis until the beginning of PU collect phase of USA 3, unless of course an Axis power attacks it first.
It doesnt say that if U attack allies, but USA. They should be more detail about this.
