    @Me1945:

    for obvious reasons, i did not offer the intercept …

    Agree, there is a strong reason for not asking and apriciate your mild sarcasm.  :-)

    it was not sarcasm, we have a few days before a decision, and i am sure none of us want to wait a couple of days for an intercept order.

    @Me1945:

    Personally I’d intercept. But, now it is not straightforward, if interceptors roll one hit.
    In this case we should apply the first AA Gun dice result which missed (5), right?

    i would have intercepted aswell but i did what is best for you guys.
    you now have the benefit of seeing what the results of the sbr was before making your intercept decision.
    we got one bomber shot down and the other did 2nd lowest damage possible.

    so you can keep the results(it seems obvious to me that this is your best option)
    or we can reroll the entire battle. (we would not keep the first aagun dice result[5] it does not make sense to decide which dice to keep and which to ignore as the dice are random and the decision to intercept is made based on predicting future probability of random dice)

  • 21 20 18 17 16 15 14 13

    I don’t think you did anything wrong. Just wondering how you guys settled similar issues with the excessive rolls before. My approach is to keep the rolled results at possible extent. I saw a such situation only in one game in the site (between Garg and Jenn, if I’m not mistaken). Garg proposed to kee the first results in the list.

  • TripleA

    In the past we have both always played how allweneedislove has stated, but to be honest I don’t think it really matters as the only thing in this case that may change if you scramble is that you may lose a fighter (or 2) and we may roll better on the bombing run.

    leave it to me to make something really straightforward really complicated.  :-)

    Yes, the self-appointed out-caller in chief, we all know. Like the calling-out of the insidious Ziggurat, what a service, I am sure the community is much safer now. The calling-out of Cow, of Me1945, of me, I guess of countless others. Judge and Executioner, all in one, quite the feat.

    Sorry both Teams, last comment, back to the game, we proceed with Russia, tomorrow at the latest.

    in today’s day and age of “political correctness” i guess i’m not too acceptable huh alex.  no one should ever be allowed to say that someone did something ridiculous right?  and yes, i called you out for only taking games with tier 3 and 4 players.  i don’t know why, there could be a perfectly valid reason, like you have a heart condition or fragile ego, i don’t know.  but the truth is, you only take games with players below you in the rankings - for whatever reason.  Now a guy like Allweneed who is playing Tier 1’s left and right, i got respect for that.

    i just hope the ancients lose before the last chance bracket final so the game will move at a reasonable pace.  :lol:

    I think the point Alex was making (and Zigg, Me1945, etc.) was/is have your opinions, just keep them to yourself or at the very least your own forums. Please don’t respond to this, I really don’t care.

    The Japanese bombers in Braynsk are strategically bombing Russia. We thought we would save time by rolling on the forum - do you want to intercept?

  • 12

    i can’t WAIT to hear what Me has to say about this…  :roll:

  • TripleA

    Bold, as I have said to you before, I admire your passion for this game.

    However, most of us (and I believe all of us in this game) play this game for the friendly competition and because we love the ever-frustrating challenge of it. We don’t have time or the desire for the trash talk and condescension that pops up in other games. So I will ask you again to please keep your opinions off of this forum, while respecting your right to have them.

    If my partner and I are fortunate/lucky/good enough to play you in a later round then I promise you I will bring all the trash talk you can handle!

    I don’t have a map handy. This is about 2 bombers vs. 3 ftrs? Full scramble pls, if so.

  • TripleA

    We are both out of town, can you guys please roll the intercepts, aa and bombing on the forum?
    Thanks.

  • 17 16 15 12

    sure, we will.
