Rudolf Hess Conspiracy Theories
-
I first heard of this topic on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries when I was a young kid. Thought I would bring the topic up for discussion.
-
I haven’t heard any conspiracy theories Worsham.
-
Hess died in prison I thought?
In fact, I recall he killed himself by strangulation… ?
-
The subject of Hess popped up twice in August 1941 aboard HMS Prince of Wales, on which Churchill travelled to meet Roosevelt in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland (the Atlantic Charter conference). Before Churchill boarded PoW at Scapa Flow, its younger officers (to whom no details had been announced) had been speculating about the purpose of their upcoming mission. They placed wagers on their guesses, one of which was “Taking Hess back to Germany.” On the return trip, Churchill was invited to have a glass of sherry with the junior officers, who bombarded him with all sorts of questions. One of them asked, “Tell us the true story of Hess, sir.” Churchill answered (to the best of my memory), “The true story of Hess, sir, is that a certain gentleman thought that all he had to do to win the war was to tie a knot in the British lion’s tail and drag that noble creature back to Germany. He was, er, mistaken.”

There is not much of a conspiracy theory about R. Hess, only the so called Neo Nazis are making a big deal about him.
-
Are you calling Worsham a neo nazi ?
-
Is he making a big deal about him, Razor?
