    I am having JAVA problems with Triplea - halfway through my NCM it started “erroring” and now it won’t open where I saved it, halfway through combat move.

    Thankfully I have the rolls, and I will just edit it back.

  • Just thought I’d share this with you as I did not realize that there was an order for which battles are rolled first. It didn’t really matter much here, but it could be important at another time. Gamerman’s been training me . . . as you can see he pointed it out to me on J1 and I was still doing it wrong several rounds later.

    Often it doesn’t really matter, but you need to know that the rules dictate that the player rolls dice for battles within a certain prescribed framework

    1. Rocket attacks and SBR battles
    2. Amphibious assaults (with requisite naval battle occurring right before each assault)
    3. All other battles

    So for this J1, you should have rolled them in this order:

    1. Z35
    2. Phillipines
      Then, any order you please

    Many players (myself included) are not aware of this rule until someone points it out (Fucioneta pointed it out to me, much to my surprise).
    If one player follows the rule and the other doesn’t, it is potentially an unfair advantage to the player who doesn’t follow the rule.

    Now you know, and you can spread the news to your opponents in the future
