    Seriously, do you not see how something like that could be construed as cheating? You saw the results of the battle and then edited an additional ship into the SZ? Think about how that impacts my potential (albeit likely unsuccesful) counter. Or impacts your attack potential to sz26 or elsewhere.

    I now feel the need to go over the rest of your turns with a fine tooth comb to see what else I might’ve missed, you lost my trust buddy.

    I understand that you feel terrible by the bad dice you got - there is nothing wrong with that. I admit I got lucky with your bad dice. However, remember Seth, we’ve always had a good tone, and I like you and enjoy playing against you both live and by email - please take a look at the post I made when I asked for OOL for the subs. I didn’t know you would be diced, so instead of making the whole turn over before rolling dice, I informed you there, before any of the important dice were rolled.

    Please buddy, let’s keep our trust and our good tone - I like you too much as a player and opponent to not be on good terms with you. You know I am not a cheater.

    No, no, and a hundred times no. You do not get to do edits to a combat dice like this. And certainly not without asking or even saying something. You pull stuff like this and it makes me question your integrity. I will be editing that cruiser back to where you moved it during your combat move.

    If you want to, you can check the time for the OOL post and the Marti Dice emails - and you’ll see that the information of the edit came before the dice were rolled.

    I missed you saying that about the edit. But the fact remains that combat dice had already been rolled before you even posted that battle. You had already killed the transport, taken Java, and rolled another 3 additional battles. And you most certainly had already started rolling the Caroline battle as the attached map had the sub hits.

    As I already said, I don’t know how I moved the cruiser down outside Java - I meant to only move the fighter since I was only going to kill the trannie. Must have mis-clicked first, and then later seen “oh no fighter” and then brought fighter down, not undoing the cruiser since I didn’t see I had put it there.

    If you had not been diced, you would not have had any problem with it, neither would I.

    I can’t know what went on in your head, I just know what the program tells me you did. You moved the cruiser in after the fighter was already in the SZ. Maybe you thought you’d get a support shot and still kill the transport, I dunno. Clearing the tran was the 2nd ‘battle’ and you didn’t say anything about it until the 6th battle was already rolling.

    Anything that smacks of combat edits IS a big deal. I don’t have an issue with edits for noncom or hey I forgot to walk into this terr or whathaveyou and I hope to continue playing this way. But you will not win on this issue, you know the points I’ve raised have merit. I did not attack your Caroline fleet with it being down that cruiser. Regardless whether the dice rolled were ‘big dice’ or not, dice rolls are dice rolls.

    I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. If I had thought it would cause accusations of cheating etc, I would of course have changed the combat move post before I started rolling the battles. But since we’ve always had a good tone, and we’re both lenient when it comes to edits as long as they’re reasonable, I didn’t think I would have to cover my back.

    You can stick to your right in this, since though your first accusations of cheating have been retracted, I technically didn’t INFORM you of it until the point where I made the post about OOL.

    But the fact of the matter is, 2 hours before your bad luck hit you in the battle, before I had any idea what the outcome of the battle would be, you were informed of the edit in a friendly manner.

    If you absolutely insist on using your technical right to not let me edit, since I in good faith of our mutual gentlemen’s understanding just casually informed you of it without thinking it would come back to hit me like this, I will respect that. But I can’t say that it reflects the attitude of games that I enjoy the most. You’ve always been on my “like” list, and I hope that we can continue playing together in a friendly manner.

    Not true. Had you been weaker in sz33, I most definitely would try to hit you there and I would’ve protested the edit of your cruiser in that sz just as vigorously if not more so.
