Star Trek Phaser sold for 231.000 $

If I had the money (which I don’t) and a suitably large building in which to house it (which I also don’t), and if it still existed (which it doesn’t), I’d like to own the Proteus submarine from Fantastic Voyage.  It was built full-sized, and unlike most large movie prop/sets of this type (which are usually empty shells) it also had a fully finished interior in which all the shipboard scenes were shot (by removing one or more parts of the sub, which had been constructed in detachable sections to allow the camera to get inside).  Very cool design too – the film was made in the mid-60s, but the sub still looks futuristic as well as entirely believable and practical-seeming.

I’d buy the Death Star and then tell the people of Earth to give me all their money and pretty women or I will blow them up, and then once I get all the goods I would blow them up.

It is from “Where No Man Has Gone Before.” The Gary Mitchell episode/second pilot of the show. It was the only episode it was used in.
