i think I might have confused you with GabeNASA in my comments. If this caused any confusion I apologize.

That’s always been my problem. It isn’t too hard to get your troops outside the capitol, bit you have to make sure you’ve brought enough to get the job done. If you only contest the territory the defender can reinforce during the battle and you can’t. So if you don’t take the capitol quickly you’re screwed.  Sounds like an entertaining game.

I agree. Larry isn’t trying to send us a message, this just wasn’t playtested enough. No way was the outcome of WW1 inevitable. Either side could have won the whole time.

It would take the same number of transports.  France and Albania are both two movements away from the US.  Shucking to Albania puts US troops within 2 moves of 2 different CP capitols.

You’d have to make SZ 20 two zones for Constantinople to be able to block movement like Suez.
