Just checked again, my game is still at the naval bombardment casualty selection. Where did you see the five, dice server?
Open up the saved file I attached. I selected my casualties, and as soon as I did, it rolls my return fire. I then saved for you to select the casualities.
You should have just told me what you select. I think it is convention that the attacker gives the input and rolls all the dice, so please let me continue with my land attack rolls and then your defensive rolls.
I dont know how many hits I scored with my land units, but I rather do not want to know…please let me know whats your opinion on how we proceed.
I’m not sure what the confusion is about, as I’ve done this before with others. To move forward, as we both get dice confirmation of the rolls(hence you know I didn’t roll it multiple times to get a favorable result), I don’t see why we just don’t use the file I attached and proceed.
You can tell what I selected as it shows in the history and displays casualaties and units remaining. I am okay with doing it whichever way you want. Let’s use my save file for this fight, then on all future battles where you need an OOL from me, I can write them in and have you select them. Does that sound fair?
Just to make one thing clear, I would never accuse you of doing it multiple times. Also, as a principle, I never check dice server rolls, and will not this time. I dont believe anyone here would cheat.
I was surprised because I never experienced this way of handling casualties, and I seem to recall reading that only the attacker rolls.
I am unhappy because I dont think it should be handled this way, principally, but lets continue.
