    109 is one of those odd air/sub battles.  You didn’t specify a OOL, and destroyers are typically the first loss.  Once they were out of the way the plane and subs can’t touch each other, so the transports are next to go while the plane flies orbit.

    Alternatively, I could have probably taken your tac instead of the dest to give the transports another round, but I think the outcome would have been the same.
