i would say that was lucky as hell
the rolling a 5 for a strat bombing however, is not exactly up there on the lucky scale.
you seriously shot down the fighter AND bombed moscow for 7? i call foul. it was NOT risky sending up the fighter, it was in our favor. i’m biting my tongue right now not to say you guys are cheating with the dice but whatever. i have NEVER seen such great dice through 4 rounds.
veq, i’m sorry if you think there was no reason to send up a ftr that had even odds on your bomber and that could have prevented the loss of 2 russian infantry due to the bombing raid. if i were you i would just be happy about the luck, but if this is some attempt to taunt then at least own it.
for the record, you guys are now operating with the equivalent of at least a 100 ipc bid.

low luck would have made NO DIFFERENCE in this case.
but you are correct, with low luck, japan would be down at least 4 more fighters and that’s just for starters (we lose only 1 ftr in z6 early with USA and he loses his ftr). and i china he loses at least 2 more aircraft when he hits the china stack.
