Both parties in this game have pissed me off. Cow especially with his Boston Comment.
Remember that Larry Harris lives in Boston, and that his step daughter was less than 1/4 mile from the explosions.
After making sure that Larry’s family was O.K. I asked Larry what he thought I should do in regards to this game - and Cow’s comment. Larry’s words were “Stick him were it hurts”.
So, at Larry’s discretion, proceed with the law #7 request.
NOTE, I have decided that Law #7 will not be in effect during the final tournament game (In which both parties may meet again).
so Boldfresh, who has been verbally abusing my team mate all 57 pages of this thread, can delay the tournament indefinitely and personally insult my team mate?
while my team mate who makes a simple joke not targeting anyone, gets punished?
and no less than punished by the tournament organizer, who also happens to be the troll of this entire forum?

@veq - you are disappointed in me for treating cow like he treats others? how can you defend the behavior he has displayed throughout the tournament - i told you both from the beginning he was going to get a big dose of his own medicine. as to defending his Boston comments - shame on you. I understand that you want to defend your teammate, but there are some things that are just indefensible.
as to rule 7, even though we don’t need the fighter (and you just got incredible luck in shooting one down with your bomber anyway) i am willing to accept the dictates of the game creator Larry Harris who apparently wants to teach cow a lesson in sensitivity.

and you can cut the fake self righteousness over that joke. a little bit of humor goes a long way towards making life fun and liveable even in its darkest moments. there is a reason military life is full of dark humor and gallows humor.
how, pray tell, would we be “cheating” if Larry Harris states that the punishment to CowARD should implemented? to be clear, i don’t want the fighter any more than you want the panzer. however, as i understand, this is well within the tournament rules so who am i to complain?

yes, we will handle you and your 100 axis bid quite deftly thank you. as i said, with the incredible luck you have received, it does make the game a challenge, which i am always happy for. cow would have given up in round 3 or 4 without those sterling dice.
so think of it this way, if you have to accept an allied fighter back on the board, your bid just goes from 100 down to 90. still a lot for an axis bid though right? :wink:

no, i do not accept that humor over the boston tragedy (within hours of it’s occurrence mind you) makes life “fun”. there is nothing fake about what i am saying Veq, it was truly appalling beyond imagination. he should apologize for making such a comment, not continue making more.

when you are playing a live game and you just finished your turn and the other guy goes, well it will now be 3 more hours till i will be able to make my turn, i gotta run some errands, you are saying you don’t think it would be reasonable for him to give you some more time to look at your move since the game can’t proceed anyway? you JUST DID THE SAME THING in your game with zhukov. so don’t give me that bs. if you want to take back the battleship edit, then we will just have to wait to hear from Veq since it is his decision.
oh, so you are calling convoy dice “dice” since technically they are. but you know good and well that dice means combat dice by the subsequent power. you are like a little child.

i joined this tournament to have fun, not read very personal insults (its not even shit-talk anymore, you are personally insulting cow, and you know it)
have your fighter, or have your battleship, one or the other
pick, and then do your turn ASAP
well well, look who’s ramping up the trash talk if it isn’t the peaceful Veq. for the record, i rarely if ever trash talk in a game, it is purely a response to what i have seen cow do all tournament long - i’ve had enough of it from him. i have also seen you time and again try to reign him in but to no avail. honey budger don’t listen to anyone.
if you like, i would be happy to proceed in this game with no further discussion in the game thread. there can be nothing but game posts and anything directly relevant to gameplay only. until cow makes another comment outside of that realm. for every comment cow makes, i will unleash 10 on him. the bully is getting punched in the nose veq, sometimes that’s the only way they will ever shut up.
