    I just want to check, are you hoping to scramble in SZ109 and 110?  Since each Air Base can send up a maximum of only 3 Fighters that you have to split between each SZ you want to defend.

    Europe 2e page 16:

    In situations where a territory containing an Air base is adjacent to more than one SZ (United Kingdom and SZs 109 & 110, for example), the territory may still only scramble up to 3 Fighters and/or Tactical Bombers, but they may be split between in the SZs in any combination.

  • Yeah - the scramble off UK didn’t work as I hoped - though, I did take out 3 planes, I made up for that by killing 3 more planes in the Med.

    I really am not sure what I am doing as the Allies here….I probably would do well to go back and review our games - and others - do get SOME idea of what an Allied strategy is. Right now, I am winging it, and that usually does not mean its a winning idea…

    Italy can still be blocked from collecting NOs on I2, so you seem to be doing fine so far.  Having to replace lost air is certainly going to slow down my German plans a little.
