Your can move a carrier into combat along side your ftrs in a SZ. Assuming your units survive, 2 of your ftrs can land in that same SZ on the battling carrier.
all planes must be landed at the end of the movable part of your turn (NCM)… otherwise they are lost… note they cannot be sent on suicide runs(as in moving them there max move without a friendly landing place)… they cannot be lost unless they were goingto land on a now sunk carrier 8) …
