Russia needs to have at least one unit in territories shared between it and the Central Powers, in order to indicate this shared status. However, there’s no reason why you need to leave any units in territories that Russia has full control of, other than simply not taking the time to remove them during the game.

More dice on the battle board so you can leave the units on the playing surface.
Because we are all adults we do this anyway. No one needs a battle board after their 10th game.

No, but what I can do is use a prod chart from another game.
Flashman, can’t you just look at the map, know what territories were taken/lost, and how much money you have? Who actually argues about the production chart?

I actually quite like the new one. It keeps you from having a 3ft x 3ft piece of cardboard, or (worse) not enough numbers.
What I don’t get is why they put tick marks at ‘half’ units…might be a little confusing.

I am currently redoing the map for a 50x60 and to include Mexico ( for Flashman). The rest of the map will be OOB, but you know once i make the thing it is bound to have versions that are different. In this manner i am just like Flashman, my brother.
