Need ideas for secret objectives


  • Over in the thread about if China should be allowed to leave its territories if it has them all, Jeff28 suggested that global could be made a lot better with secret objectives in the flavour of Twilight Imperium. For those unfamiliar with the game, each player would be dealt an objective card at the beginning of the game which no one else could read until that player fulfilled the objective and was then rewarded.

    I think this is an absolutely brilliant idea and would like to call on the extensive knowledge of this forum to help me create a deck of 3 to 5 secret objectives for each of the major powers (Germany, Russia, Japan, UK, USA, Italy). I would like all the objectives to be historically flavoured, but other than that let your imaginations soar and thank you for the help!

  • I played Lord of the Rings RISK.  It did add a rather interesting twist and would cause you to take territories you might otherwise not bother to.  It would/could affect the board in interesting ways.
