I need OOL for SZ41. UK gets 3 hits to start off, which makes up for getting diced in Iraq. I would have hoped for 1 at a minimum and been thrilled with 2.

You win I guess. 4 hits for 4 - yeah - well - great to have dice in a battle that determines the outcome of a game I guess.

It’s hardly game-ending, it just puts the follow-up ANZAC attack at 50% + odds. Then I have to deal with a possible wipe-out of the US fleet off Java.

I am not so sure about the air landing in Java. That is a big difference, is it not? Probably affects my OOL. It is a game changer. Instead of now taking out my fleet at the cost of ALL your planes + the ANZAC ones, you now get to roll over it for next to nothing.
This is the kind of crap that makes playing A&A a no-win situation. If I lose because someone beats me because they played well - so be it - it happens all the time. Happened last game you won.
But to lose to dice - I have lost 6 games - 5 of them due to a single stroke of stupid luck in ONE battle. This game included…
