Something I forgot to ask about. I noticed in your video that you have already printed on the map your air and naval bases. Also, your convoy routes are much bolder and easier to see. Otherwise it looks like a standard Global 40 map. How did you get it with the air and naval bases printed on the map and the bolder convoy routes. I really like the convoy routes.

Hey KNP, this map was a colaberation between Ambilzi and myself, I used photoshop to place the base icons everywhere, but I don’t know how Ambilzi enhanced the convoy and kamikaze symbols. here is where you can find the downloadable file if you want to print your own map…

I like it!  Its crazy but again this game is based upon dice in the end. If it was a low luck game then I would have to reconsider.

Other that that, I am wondering what the point is on taking India with Germany.  Other than the “cool…” factor of course.

I didn’t see the time frame that Germany intends to take India, but I would surmise that its a ploy to allow Japan to fry other fish in the Pacific for an Axis win in the Pacific?

Although if the German Air Force is anywhere other than in Europe I’d presume the US would make full investments into the Pacific to prevent the Axis win in the Pacific.

I think Larry should change the rules for tech to this: buying dice costs 10, and you have to roll a 6 still, but you can then choose the tech you want. And no tokens either.

30% of a Powers total IPC buys 1 roll for random tech (max 1 per turn). I might give that a go. Advantages small countries that may not be able to take advantage of the tech, and stops large powers from going crazy. No diminishing returns. Maybe yanks can’t purchase until at war.

All powers can buy research from round 1.

I agree, the rule is good because if you use tokens the USA should have every single tech in the game by round 20, and if they’re a little lucky could have all the ones they want by round 10.
