Thank you guys. I thought it was legal the only thing that was tripping me up was the whole we don’t own the sea zone before the turn but you can’t own a sea zone so it is fine to land on a carrier that has taken a sea zone. Or that is my understanding. Thanks again for the info. It was one thing I was not sure on.

While the game engine may sometimes allow it, you are not technically allowed per the game rules to load during the combat phase if those units cannot or will not be used for an amphibious assault during that combat phase.

Yes, I understand. I was assuming that they could be offloaded at some point that turn, but either way it would have ended up being the same if I loaded them in combat move or non-combat, since they could do nothing either way.

Historical Sealion or in game Sealion? If it’s the latter I should say it’s already been explained.

You could also hide the fighter in Kwangtung C1,  sure it’s under threat, but it’s destruction would require a J2 DoW.

What a bunch of JUNK.  One of my new plans was to NOT attack china in several places, and focus on a troop build up for india,  but now those pesky Chinese just STACK in Burma :S  Yunann MUST be obliterated J1.

Not immediately.  Japan is only at war with UK/ANZAC.  The US is allowed to declare war on Japan on its next turn.  The same thing applies here.  If Italy declares war on the USSR, the USSR is allowed to declare war on Germany on its next turn, but it is not immediately at war with Germany.

No, but Germany could declare war on the USSR on its next turn.

Correct.  However, either Germany or USA may declare war on the other on their next turn.
