Shantung and Kiangsu question.

Other than the UK/ANZAC ability to take control of them peacefully, they are treated as territories whose capital is in enemy hands.  Whoever captures them from Japan will have control of them.

Kreighund, why didnt ANZAC start with an AA gun?
Seems bazzare to me that that power doesnt get one.

I’m now somewhat curious about the reasons for the “under protection” wording.

Why not just:

Dutch like power whose capital is controlled by enemy
except UK/ANZAC can take control

If UK/ANZAC provokes war, Japan is free to attack the UK/ANZAC and take Dutch territories, without bringing the US into the war.

That’s what I was assuming but for some reason it seemed odd. Compared to the old AAP, it gives the Brits/ANZAC a bit of an advantage over the Japanese.
