That’s true.  The supply lines also make it difficult for the invader but challanging non the less.  Linkon, you played a rough game if you went into turns 7 and 8, the game is supposed to end after the 6th turn. :-D

Does anyone know of any home made set-ups for this game?

Played it for the 1st time last week-end and it was very fun.

We thought we would try bidding for territories next time.

Exemple: each player has 200 “credit” (total) to bid with.
We draw the 1st territory card, and players can bid for it. when nobody wants to top the last player bid, he got the territory, and so on…
so good bidding strategy is rewarded by better positioning at the beginning of the game, or more territories (ie more cash to spend).

I have the orange box.  Perhaps the greatest collection of games you can ever get man.  Team Fortress 2 alone is worth the 50 bucks.  Portal and HL2: ep 2 simply pwn.  If you dont have it, get it now!

its all set up……i guess it was good enough for them to go and make the map on Abattlemap like they said. i’d like to give it a try.  but i think we need one more player to be america

this goes into the rules for america and how they are influenced.

and the bolsheviks should also be played by the american player or another player, it gets pretty complicated.

anyone checked out the Eastern Front map on DAAK’s downloadable maps?

there are two box’s in libya for italy and a box in siberia with russia.  both have people in them, but why the boxes.  what does that mean?

the half life mod day of defeat also has swastikas….and the american war movies/mini-series(saving pvt ryan, band of brothers, etc) also depict nazi symbols…so i agree that they chose that so that they could sell it on the larger market
