Axis & Allies: Europe on Warcraft III

The no IPC scenario should not be combined with free for all (rather, I haven’t tried it yet). What happened was Japan beat China with only a few ground units left, and the allied and Japanese fleets annihilated each other. The US was able to land in China though and worked with the Soviets to retake most of northeastern China by the end of the game. On the Eastern Front Germany and Italy waited for the Soviets to exhaust themselves. It was tough going at first but once the Soviets were broken they had almost nothing left to give.

Overall in this game whoever has the last unit wins, ground units were crucial and any mistake or bad luck is heavily decisive.

Well then, it looks like I will be placing a new order next week as well.

The truck and the armored car. I would like to thank coach for the excellent job that he has done with the pieces, plus the shipping was amazingly fast. Job well done. FMGs Italian pieces are next.

excellent. have you made any progress? I did some research and I’m going to make three maps. One for the Urban fighting, one for the landings, and one for the retreat.

Started out as a WWII game, but the theme changed a bit…

Anyway I’ll post when I have more stuff, but at the moment I’m working on Advanced Kingmaker, but I will try to get round to AAHE1939 or whatever it’s going to be called soon.  Honest…

for the most part I like 'em - except it adds A LOT of complication & new stuff to the game. (Stalinist paranoia and the China rules, for example). Being sort-of opposed to IC’s in general and the somewhat long-ish ranges that fighters can potentially have, I gobbled up those rules pretty quickly. …mostly though, I borrowed a lot of the ideas to make simpler versions of these rules.

As an A&A game, yea it does suck pretty hard. As a stand alone WWII RTS it is not too shabby. It is one of the few RTS games that takes supply into consideration, and unit morale. I kinda like it. But if you are looking for a Axis and Allies type game you probablly will not like it.
