Can ships move 1 space then attack or do they have to start their turn adjacent?

I am curious, how does Italy or Germany react to that battleship?

Here are couple rules
Ships at Port:
When moving to a friendly sea zone, ships can choose to enter a friendly territory.  While not at sea, the ships are not subject to combat nor do they interfere or add with any other ship movement, combat, or amphibious assaults.  Movement into the territory is free, but costs 1 MP to leave.  If the territory is captured while ships there, then they are lost (scuttled).  Land units may move to a territory and finish their move on a transport that is also in port.  At that point the transport can sail loaded to the adjacent sea zone.  Once a transport is in the sea zone it can unload as normal.  Ships must leave by the sea zone in which they entered the territory.
Mines vs. Transports: Mine hits on transports can be absorb by loss of a load.

Not certain, but it might have been me.  I voted for emergency conscripts soon after the poll was posted.

Than maybe he didn’t, but I’m not going to run a 3 day poll for 2 weeks or who knows how long, it was his fault for getting booted, that’s my opinion.

Tac bombers should not be able to do as much damage as strat bombers. We have same rule, but the tacs damage is halved rounded up for 1-3 damage to a facility. Far more realistic.

These are all concepts used in ZENO Games World at War AA expansions from the 1990s. Cool stuff. German double impulse attack G1. Jap double impulse suprize attack anytime it wants once during game. can you say Pearl Harbor anyone. Oh yea, Soviets pay Germany 5 IPCs per turn for not attacking them for like the first 4 turns. Like these rules ALOT!

We play that version for years and I liked a lot but now it’s time for change but with the double impulse, player lost a lot of time to play and time is our worst ennemy!
For the next game,we’re gonna use a different rule for the bliztkrieg and the sneak attack!

IN AAR on the first turn Russia plays first then axis/ allies ( including Russia)

After first turn its axis then allies.  You may have to have Russia go first depending on the game your playing

It makes more sense now that I it’s been fully explained. One of the challenges here would be protecting E. U. S. from a sudden German attack, but it would probably be easy enough to destroy any German transports.
