Didn’t take long for the “I told you so’s”, huh.
I haven’t even made a move yet, Me.
I am only trying it because my life long friend and relative and gaming buddy for life is really into G40 on Triple A only and asked for a game.
I stand by my statement that IT LOOKS TERRIBLE (very hard to see sea zones, borders, movement possibilities), and FEELS CLUNKY (seeing moves and reviewing results is cumbersome and inefficient), and HAS IT’S OWN DRAWBACKS. I see I also didn’t say that I would never try it again. I said that I refuse to try it a third time, which is a current statement and leaves allowance for a reassessment in the future - so I don’t even see any words to eat - nice try. And thanks for coming to my defense, Bold.
Be warned - playing one game with it will only make me much more informed with my future criticisms.
Man, it’s hard to see what exactly is in a territory, and if you zoom out so that you can see more of the map, then you can’t see the units! Like anything, I’m sure players get used to it, but it still leaves much to be desired.Now let me play a move or two, for crying out loud.

on the right side of the game board there are four tabs titled Actions, Stats, Economy, Territory. If you click on Territory, then mouse over the territory, it shows exactly what is in each territory clearly. if you press shift when over the territory, you can then move your mouse over to the right and scroll down if there are too many to see at once.

I did notice the “territory” showed you the units more clearly, but didn’t know how or if it was possible to scroll down - thank you very muchMy main complaint is more that looking at the map, it’s more difficult to see the composition and number (especially number) of pieces in an area. Is there a way to increase the font size of the little bitty counter numbers that say how many of each unit are there?
Eh - oh well. I’m sure I’ll get used to it.
