Like I said, you deserved better than those boxcars that the bombers rolled. I had been planning on doing that for the last 3 turns (the airbase in So France was dual purpose allowing British fighters involved in Germany to land in Norway or Denmark, capturing Norway with bare bones so as to not encourage a defensive Baltic fleet build) but I neglected to take Holland and you almost blew up the whole thing because I did something stupid.
If I had seen that I probably would’ve moved a destroyer down and given them some aircover.
I’m sorry that you think it was cheesy, but when somebody is pushing that hard against me, sometimes I’ll just let them have their objective and I’ll pick a different one. I was planning on stuffing Greece full of guys and an IC, dropping ICs on Norway and Finland, and sitting the Soviet stack on top of the Americans on Novgorod while Europe got landed on. You wanted me out of Southern Europe so badly, I decided to leave.
