Only thing Russia can do is attack Man or Kor. If you attack Man whatever is left moves to Kor. If you attack Kor 1 bomber from Kwa attacks along with 3 inf from Man, bomber lands in Jap. extra 12 goes for a dd in z20 and a mec in Hon.
I think you are in trouble this time, but maybe you can find a way out…
actually if you decide to dow on Japan with russia ( i highly doubt it but just in case) then i would buy a ftr for Fic and upgrade an art to an arm in Japan and swap an art from Japan with an arm from India during placement. And again if you take Npr with french then just roll german dice for me with the mec from Vol and bomber from Sukr until the mec dies, bomber lands in Sukr.

Yeah, I’ve been on the ropes for the last several turns. I narrowly averted defeat in the pacific earlier in the game, but it just prolonged the inevitable. Debated a long time over whether to stay in India or attack the German fleet. I couldn’t figure out a way of doing both and still save Russia, so I decided to attack the fleet and vacate India. Looks like that was a mistake.
Anyway, great game. Well played by you - you didn’t let your foot off the gas the whole way. Congrats on your championship!
Good game. This version is tough. The sealion threat is strong enough to really neuter UK on UK1 which allows the axis to get rolling in europe. Then its very tricky to figure out the right balance for US spending.
With Italy off to a good start it forces UK to deal with them first and then Germany can focus on Russia which will eventually fall just due to economy. Took a lot of allied resources to save Russia but it was too difficult for you to both save Russia and put meaningful pressure on Germany.
I completely overlooked the saving of India earlier when I thought I had you but like you said it kind of prolonged things more than anything else. Once I had your US fleet isolated from reinforcements I knew I could just get good position and starve you out until the right moment. Particularly with so many US resources necessary in Russia.
I dont know what to do in the situation you were in with India. I dont think there was a good answer. I probably would have abandoned it as well as you would have been crushed if you stayed and it would be a lot of wasted resources for you. Problem was you didnt have enough firepower to threaten to take it back unless you could get airforce from Russia but you couldnt really spare them.
