Ok! Wittman is next!
-
Sounds like fun… I thought about Sweden, and Russia, both for the challenge of it, but felt I’d get swallowed up too quickly as I learn the game.
Good luck, and may the dice be relatively fair to us all.
-
To the extent that my playing one game on that map lends my opinions wisdom and balance, sure.
Pick UK, buy lots of ships, insult whoever is playing France.Â
That is pretty funny.
-
How cruel, I go away for a few hours and you start an eight player game without me. Oh well, I can make popcorn and kibitz as the game goes.
Would you be willing to stay tuned and take over the first empty slot, if one comes up?
-
Sure, I can do that if needed.
-
Cool, thanks Degrasse.
BTW, I really think we ought to randomly assign nations to players instead of going through this tedious procedure of letting everyone choose their country, one by one… This would save us about 48 hours on our start time. Thoughts?
-
Hmm, since people already won a chance to pick nations, I think it would not be very fair to not let them do it.
I understand the time issue though, but it happens.
By the way, I think we should implement the 48 hour rule right away. That is, after the first choser the next one have 48 hours time left to chose. If he does not chose, then Degrasse is in queue to chose on his behalf and Degrasse replaces him at once in the game.
-
Wittman choosed Prussia (he sent me message)
I choose France.
Kabloom is next

Thanks Dad!
Dying to see a map by the way.
Nice to be playing AAA at last. Blame Noll if I stink at it. -
Noll: Meant to say: I hate your filthy French ways and am disgusted to share a border with you. One day we will conquer you and humiliate you beyond belief, dirty, smelly, revolutionary Frog! Who is this upstart Italian Napoleon anyway?
You do not worry us with your massive armies and superior artillery.
We fly in the face of danger and mock the spindly killer fish! -
