L13 G40 Ziggurat (Axis) vs Fortress (Allies+9)


  • I don’t want to sound like a jackass, but also don’t want to lie. Before Japan’s turn I was up 60 IPCs total and now its closer to 80. I’m just going to dance around Russia until you’re out of guys there (should be around 2 more turns). I like to look at the board as a bunch of individual battles and right now Germany is beating Russia 6:1, Italy over UK 1.5:1, and Japan is tied with USA+ANZAC. I’m really not sure what the allies path to victory is at this point since the US can’t afford to put another unit into Europe for the rest of the game. It has been really fun and I’ve learned quite a lot, but it’s just a matter of pressure over time at this point. I have no problem at all playing this to VC win, but I’m going to be incredibly conservative from here on out. At least going to try not to sacrifice any more planes…. not sure if my impulsiveness will let that happen though :P.
