I found the tiger portion frustrating.�  I felt the Tiger could have easily shifted/braked a single track to maximize it’s turn radius, and that what we observed was just more Brad Pitt has to be a superstar syndrome.

Seconded! I felt a little let down by it. I wanted the Tiger to be more of a drawn out enemy or challenge rather than some non-descript Boss that they get to defeat in 5 min.

I think they did a good Job with BoB and the Tiger Scene (even though it was the same Tiger I on a T34 Chassis like in saving Ryan).
He hidd, striked ,rolled out and cleared the field and retreated with the whole Battalion.
Lot of things BoB showed was well performed.

I like Band of Brothers.

And even so, better to “test/pressure” your track in the dirt, than die.

Yeah with a T34 anytime, not so with a Tiger I&II.

Have people enter, and then get a board of top rated players to judge each player, from then creating pairs that are as fair as possible. They then create the brackets. Players would work in 2-man teams in 2 on 2 games. The winner continues on, the loser goes to the loser bracket, but if you lose in there, you are out. Then the top two losing teams face off to see who gets to see the winners champion. Then the winner and loser champions face each other to see who wins there. For playing different games: games like Bulge, D-Day, and Guadal are worth the lowest points for Ws and Ls, while 1940 and Anniversary are worth more points for both winners and losers. To prevent cheating, there will be a judge at each game who will officiate, but will not punish players if they screw up, but will disqualify them if they do things like roll the dice again, or pick their tech, etc.,intentional cheating like that in which there is evidence beyond a REASONABLE doubt. Everyone should have fun, as it is a double then play for fun elimination circut. If your are knocked out of the losing bracket, you then join the other pairs(1/4 of total players at first possible chance), and play for fun, not to advance, as you are knocked out of the tournament. Where and when will the convention be held because I will try to get there if it is in the US.

I think he’s absolutely correct.
Many Canadians deplore Jean Cretien (Canada’s P.M.) for stating at the recent G8 meetings some similar things (i.e. it is unrealistic and dangerous for a member to have this kind of a deficit - especially in an increasing world economy where we all rely on each other to some degree). At the same time, i agree that this has the potential to be extremely problematic.
At the same time, in periods of economic downturn - which the US has seen in spades (not the least of its causes were 9/11) - it is economically viable (and good sense) to run a deficit - the depth of which is difficult to determine. Presumably GWB has a few half-decent economists working with him. The problem is - are they saying “oh, great idea boss” to appease GWB, or because in their estimation it’s a good idea?
As for his tax-cutting strat - i completely agree. Basic economic theory demonstrates that if you wish to stimulate the economy you have better growth by injecting money than by cutting taxes DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR. Also he’s correct by stating that the tax cuts to the poor would provide better economic stimulus than to the wealthy.
Which brings us to ask - why these types of economic decisions? As i said - certainly he has the best economists in the nation helping out. Is he relying on political - rather than economical - advisors?
(my guess is “yes”)
