"Skyfall"

Have people enter, and then get a board of top rated players to judge each player, from then creating pairs that are as fair as possible. They then create the brackets. Players would work in 2-man teams in 2 on 2 games. The winner continues on, the loser goes to the loser bracket, but if you lose in there, you are out. Then the top two losing teams face off to see who gets to see the winners champion. Then the winner and loser champions face each other to see who wins there. For playing different games: games like Bulge, D-Day, and Guadal are worth the lowest points for Ws and Ls, while 1940 and Anniversary are worth more points for both winners and losers. To prevent cheating, there will be a judge at each game who will officiate, but will not punish players if they screw up, but will disqualify them if they do things like roll the dice again, or pick their tech, etc.,intentional cheating like that in which there is evidence beyond a REASONABLE doubt. Everyone should have fun, as it is a double then play for fun elimination circut. If your are knocked out of the losing bracket, you then join the other pairs(1/4 of total players at first possible chance), and play for fun, not to advance, as you are knocked out of the tournament. Where and when will the convention be held because I will try to get there if it is in the US.

That may be my problem, I think that SNL really, REALLY sucks compared to how they were in the 1980s, maybe the early 1990s as well.

First of all Team America did not suck.

In my, most humble and amiable opinion, it did.  That sex scene was WAY too long.  Some of it was funny, but it is not something I would classify as a work of art or something I would tell anyone had any intrinsic value.  But as I said, that’s my, most humble, opinion on the matter.  You are free to enjoy it all you want.  :lol:

As always, I am but your humble and obedient servant.  However, I do believe that all of my opinions are humble and contrite and only given in the best interests of all mankind.  If I were to keep my, humble, opinion to myself, how could I help the wee little children?  Oh won’t anyone PLEASE think about the children!!!  They need my voice added to the cacophony of ideas they are subjected too in this tumultuous world!

me too. like 95% of them are the same idea transposed no matter how unlikely it fits to reality. Its like that Moore fellow…same thing but i little less as ridiculous, but still far out.

You know, I never really paid much attention to who the director/producer was to a movie until Clint Eastwood started making movies left and right.

That said, I felt this particular movie (the writing, the producing, the camera shots and some of the acting) was so particularly bad, and the advertising for the movie so religiously harped on who directed and produced it, that I had to attribute this disaster of a film to Mr. Oliver Stone.

Last night I watched House on FOX with my wife and teenager.  DIAGNOSIS : Bubonic Plague

This morning I awaken to the news that a case of Bubonic plague has beeen diagnosed in CA!!

I heard on local radio that this is the second time since the show started that House pulled a “We called it immediately before it happened!” storyline.

I like this show as it has unlikeable characters…House, Wilson, Cutty …

Last nights eppisode also covered different moral outlooks in medical and personal beliefs.
Bravo! Brava!

Last night I mentioned to my wife that House doesn’t have as much of the characters’ social lives as a lot of the other “Medical Center” shows.

Now that was a flashback!  I haven’t thought of that show in 30+ years.

No, it is an energy weapon.  Even the targetting system of the Phalanx is not THAT good.  And if there IS a targetting system that will fit on a tank that IS that good, then the Phalanx would be turned into a single-shot weapon TOMORROW :-)

well, we do “care” about the environment - prolly more than America, as well as many other nations. We are the home of Greenpeace, afterall. Also there are many “renewable resource” programs in place, and dozens of friends of mine spend their summers working tree-planting for these logging companies, etc.
No no, not logging. Our shame is in Alberta - a province that is working against Kyoto and environmental measures (it’s the Texas of Canada - with the good and the bad), not that Ontario is so great either - much industry near Toronto etc. Also we do waste quite a bit. Nice having all that landfill room.
