POLITICAL ROUND 2 STARTS!

People’s Republic of France does not want to do any political actions. The France is mighty and able to defend the motherland of barbaric invaders  :mrgreen:

We will continue our crusade against the French Republic to make Europe safe for monarchies, offer a cease fire to Austria, and offer open borders to the Otts and Russians.

Notice how the units xlose to Russian borders are the Austrian ones and not the Russian ones. But I was expecting it.

To the other players: Austria is the only nation that starts with 4 cities and the biggest production and land units at the start of the game. If nobody fights them or worst, they even aid them against 1 of the weak players (russia or the ottomans), as Russia is their favorite target and France is keeping UK at bay, this means tbat just one victory cities from Russia and 2 from neutral Swede  will grant them a fast victory, that you will not be able to stop.

So I fail to understand what’s the gain of the other nations other by being manipulated by the strongest player.

As Russia, we will also add:

Some smart nation may think “let’s ignore Austria and make it fight Russia so they will deplete their force and I’ll take advantage of that later!”.

Well, to the European Nations I say, if this will be a one-sided war with especially France ignoring Austria, Russia will gladly concede all his territories to Austria without fighting back.

As heated as this political venture is getting, the Ottoman empire has decided to remain neutral on all grounds, except that of the French  :evil:

Does people reject UK’s offer for open borders since they have not commented it? I need to know that before I can click stuff on politics panel.

The republic of France will observe sharply Austria’s decision about opening borders with UK. The France might consider Austria opening borders with UK as hostile action towards France.

Well, I go forward without opening borders between nations offering those proposals since they did not explicitly agreed on it.

Apparently there is a new adviser in His Majesty’s government, Lord Nollington.  His advice to vigorously prosecute the war against Austria as well as France is interesting.

I was unable to change political status between Austria and UK. You can test the France turn 2 save and see it yourself.

Maybe the game rules say that one must be one full turn in war after the declaration of war has been made. There is something regarding that in game notes.
