Modem games for axis and allies

What!!  Looks like I am not the only “old and can’t remember stuff”.  I think you got that post in the wrong area……but that’s ok…we all get old,and forgetful…

Russia starts with all twenty infantry on the board.  This is actually less than they start with in MB’s 2nd edition.

As for China, it was neutral but pro U.S. - a mechanic which was dropped from A&A.  I can’t say why, you’d have to ask Larry.

That’s sweet but now I don’t know what to do with it.

wondering if anyone has seen added scenarios for the pc game - perhaps high difficulty

as far as i’m concerned, a dedicated strategic bombing campaign by either side is a waste of money insofar as building bombers and then replacing any that happen to get hit. the only time i generally use bombers is when i can’t use them to support any other attacks i might be using. it is worthwhile if you can get in some free shots, e.g if an IC has no AA to protect it, but I don’t generally like to use my bombers like that.

I keep the carrier without fodder to invite a German attack. The sooner I destroy that airforce the better. Same with the German Bomber in W Europe.
