Not much of a game. Bad move by US with dice turning extremely hard on Allies r1, 2 and 3, making game a boring wash.

Cow’s dice luck in the big battles was too much to overcome. I lost a 66/33 in my first attempt to liberate UK; a 70/30 that cost me US’ atlantic fleet and sunk liberation attempt #2; and lastly a 75/25 battle that cost Russia their stack. :xhttp://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=31155.255

The 75/25 with Russia was at a last ditch effort point. Even if you won there, you still had to liberate anzac against 5 inf 3 fighters with 9 attackers (granted you roll bigger dice). Then you would have to somehow defend against 100 ipc japan with 8 boats that can be fully loaded escorted by a superior fleet!

That last battle didn’t factor in? If I could’ve taken it strong enough, I’d have pressed and then flown in 2 us ftrs plus the aa guns to hold it and that would’ve been huge. Otherwise, I’d have just settled for a strafe and killed a lot of your troops. But nope, horrible first two rounds for me. Granted that could’ve been a mooooooooooooot battle if US wasn’t able to liberate Australia after you took India.

I have to report another loss. In my one hope to win I had 4 US Artys invading against 2 German Soldiers in Denmark which would have opened the door to get Berlin, but I rolled poorly and lost. Good game CW! Thanks for playing.

Well, it’s not cool to take off a guy’s destroyer without asking and then surprise strike his ship(s) the next round.
However, he could have tactfully raised his concern and asked for an agreeable resolution.
Mryogen, you shouldn’t quit a game over this without even giving Matt a chance to remedy things. He already offered on the game thread to fix it.
If you want to quit because you’re losing, then man up and tell him good game and I resign.
It is poor sportsmanship to just up and quit over this without giving the other guy a chance to resolve it. -
