It was a depressing game for me. No refection on Cow though… he played like a gentleman.

First time I’ve had a game end on a personal note… :-o Don’t know what to say Mr. Yogen. I’ve had quite a few games go south on luck alone and that pissed me off to no end. But at least I’l like to think I kept it civil…

Mr.Yogen was a dedicated player… probably set to improve with all the experience he was getting. We had a disagreement but it was resolved…

Exactly. I just reviewed the game thread all the way back to round 4, and I saw NOTHING that could have been taken as mean, condescending, or anything. (OK, the only thing I could think of is if Karl was indeed supremely lucky as claimed and never acknowledged it)
Cow, I think you should quote one or more posts from that game thread by Karl that could have possibly earned him that back talk.
Even when facing the ridiculous request to re-roll a big battle where Karl gave him max defense and still wiped him out, Karl was a gentlemen. Most of us wouldn’t have been so nice at that point.
This is a 2-21 player who has ripped off more losses in the past 2 weeks than probably anyone in A&A history, telling a 17-14 player that he “sucks”. Most likely he’s frustrated.
And what I just said there was way more inflammatory than anything I saw Karl say :lol: Now I’ll probably have Jenn scold me for flaming and violating the site rules for pointing out someone’s record and futility. -
I’m playing MrYogen and he has had some bad luck against me, however not outrageously bad luck. Must suck to be on the receiving end of constant bad luck - kind of luck a bad streak at poker - but he has to stay civil, which he has been with me.

A dice game, including an almost perfect attack by the UK against Taranto. The UK killed the Italian fleet and shot down 3 Axis ftrs for 1 hit in return…. :-o
Had that happened to me too. It is pretty devastating for the ownership of the med. Also happened to me that I only killed the cruiser, BB stayed alive, no planes lost (92% Taranto). Again devastating for the Med! Italy was a beast. Stupid Taranto.

Had that happened to me too. It is pretty devastating for the ownership of the med. Also happened to me that I only killed the cruiser, BB stayed alive, no planes lost (92% Taranto). Again devastating for the Med! Italy was a beast. Stupid Taranto.
I’m thinking, if you cry to arathorn about bad showings in the Med for the Axis, he won’t exactly be overwhelmed by grief for you. He got hammered in Taranto and then lost the rest of his ships on the counter attack not sinking any of the British survivors of Taranto and ended up having a loaded transport to get sunk by the French, yea the FRENCH and he lost the fighter he scrambled to protect it.
His Germans are doing well, however. As are his Japanese and the fact that I’ve never had the allies in the war on round 1 before. Russia on round 2 many times, America on round 2 sometimes, but never all the allies on round 1. Will be a very fun game - except, I hate seeing my opponents die under unyielding, withering, fire.

Hmm, you may not want to make that bet. lol. If he wins, it will be on the Pacific board, he’s been losing a lot of equipment on the European board due to poor dice. Not saying it’s not recoverable, but it’s going to be uphill for him. I’m not a GREAT player, had I been playing games one at a time in league, I’d probably be somewhere in the middle, but you know what they say, bad dice beat good strategy!
