2013 - AAG 40 League

Are we ever going to have a 2013 tournament?

Would there be any issue with starting a game off forum and counting it towards the league standings? I have an opponent who want to test out a secret strategy for use against someone else. But I don’t want to let him (Bold) off the hook with a nonrated game 2. Maybe if we post a start thread and the bid but don’t use the thread otherwise until we post the results?

I’m the one who wants the credit for the league win, since I know I’m going to win.  :evil:

What if we post the results and the map when it’s all said and done?

With Karl, Bold and myself already in for $50, we’re at $150…

Clearly this should create some interest!

I can throw in a cool thousand . . .  monopoly dollars, maybe even 1500!

I don’t have spare cash laying around, but I’d play in the tourney.  :-D

each should give as they are able.  no one can tell me they don’t have a few extra bucks laying around.  :wink:

When money is involved, you need a good, impartial moderator with a lot of A&A experience.

I’m interested in another G40 tournament. I really had a lot of fun in Gargantua’s XDAP tournament and met new people.

Hey now, I am NOT evil, I am just misunderstood!  I think I just need a hug, you know, to stop my homicidal tendancies!

2v2 tournaments are fine, the only problem is that we invariably end up with a few teams where one guy starts to not show up.

Solution:  24 hour move limitation. That would knock out the dawdlers

i’m all for 24 hrs.  maybe 48 hr total for the USA/CH/UK trio.
