No. You would cross four borders: Midway to 43, 43 to 44, 44 to 45, 45 to Japan). Note that you would not be able to land your fighter then. So a fighter move would be impossible.

In case your fighter started from a carrier in SZ 43, it would be three movement points to attack Japan. You could land on a carrier in SZ 45, then, provided this can be established as valid landing point.

Yes, but only in case you can - during combat move phase - demonstrate how to land them during noncombat move phase.

Yes M_R, the dynamics of the will change with different groups. In my two 1941 groups G has to go for Africa from the off, or its Med TT will have gone.

In such low incomes,  I would probably give or place outright each side, 1 free IC. 1 for Allies and 1 for Axis.

No. If a Sub’s target survives, it can always retaliate.
Submerging is instead of attacking or defending. A Sub cannot attack and submerge in he same round.
It is always worth attacking a lone Carrier with Fighters on board, if the Fighters do not have a safe place to land, as they will go down with the Carrier. The lesson is: always keep a Destroyer with your fleet, if the enemy has a Sub in range.

I think it’s a fun game, especially if you want something relatively quick and simple. While I love Global, occasionally it is nice to play something that is so simple. I think it is more fun as the attacker because you simply don’t have to worry about SBRs or shore bombardment. Also, no AA fire to threaten your planes.
I think it is easier for the Axis to win. I have played a handful of games and only once so far did the Allies win, although I have not tried the new changes in setup yet. Also, I might have been just lucky so far (I usually play Axis). I have noticed if certain battles don’t go right for the Axis, the Allies could gain the upper hand.
Basically, it’s good if you just got a couple of hours or so to kill and you don’t want to leave the game set up.

I know the year limit affects this (france)but I personally would only get a game including Italy and France, I don’t like how Italy is included with Germany.
