    I go for both. But I recently changed my J1 to give me more flexibility. I now let the chinese fighter alive, but hit kwantung, burma and philippines  (and a couple of chinese territories). This gives me one fighter free to hit sz50 together with the BB (the CA is sent towards sz37 for bombardment - also usefull against a SS bid), that can go to sz51 if I get diced in both sz56 and sz53.

    You can have a look at one of my last games if you want to see more details on what became my J1. The main point is to keep as many options as possible according to dice results.

    But all of that also depend on the bid and my mood :)

  • FYI, I will be out of internet this week end, and quite busy until tomorrow. As I need to make some decisions in this game, I might not play before monday, or maybe wednesday (moving on tuesday for my work).

    Currently, my game against Soul has the priority because of the close league deadline (worst case, I guess I can just take a free loss to reach the 8 games limit anyway, but I’d prefer to finish this one in time).

    I lucked out there.  J would have been set back pretty far losing those two trns.

    Turns out to be an interesting trade overall, considering in most game the US BB dies, so it was J cruiser for US bomber.  Both 12 ipcs, but its always nice to see those Allied bombers go down.
