I wasn’t sure if I should just build ground units and salvage as much of the French navy as possible or put pressure on the English navy.

I also took 1 Fusiliers and 1 Howitzer as casualties for the battle of Novgorod because they were the cheapest. Edit at your leisure.

A hint for Sweden next time:
if you want to try to defend Finnland, transport the general to general to Finnland and build 3 infantry first turn. You can evacuate him anytime and I will get no factory.

I don’t see how it’s possible to evacuate the general from Finland without building up it’s navy, which is costly. Sweden has it’s hands full just defending what it has right now.

A hint for Sweden next time:
if you want to try to defend Finnland, transport the general to general to Finnland and build 3 infantry first turn. You can evacuate him anytime and I will get no factory.

I don’t see how it’s possible to evacuate the general from Finland without building up it’s navy, which is costly. Sweden has it’s hands full just defending what it has right now.

You have to build up the Swedish navy in that case, that’s right. But where else do you want to expand with the Swedish? There are 2 cases:

1. England goes for Sweden
2. England does not go for Sweden.

You forced me with the French navy not to go for Sweden - so Sweden can do whatever it wants. But it has to cross the sea … to Prussia, to Russia or to England. If England goes for Sweden you may be right that Sweden should invest as much as possible for it’s army at home.
