    When you’re in the game, go up to Game on the upper left, click it and get a drop down menu. At the bottom you’ll find the Battle Calculator. Make this tool your best friend. It allows you to see the odds of a battle, and how many units should be left over, etc.

    The UK fleet in the Med for example - I wasn’t sure, so I typed it in and found out I had a 98% chance of winning, and should have four units left over. It made it a no-brainer for Italy to attack. Even though my instinct said I should win, without it, I might have chosen a different path.

  • Here ya go. Something you probably already realized, but I hadn’t thought of: The reason you don’t want to use the internal dice server with a person you don’t absolutely trust is that they could just re-run battles until they get the result they want.

    Question: I thought I had already declared war on Mongolia (like, when I invaded) but at the start of this russian turn it gave me the option to declare war….which I did. Is that just a formality or does the declaration itself have some meaning?
