Now I see my specific question is answered, the carriers could not even split up during a combat move that ends in the same place
I’ve run into that headache before too, moving and unloading groups of transports can be frustrating. At times I’ve resorted to moving and unloading them one at a time.

I got in a rush this morning trying to do the turn quickly before going to work. If you don’t mind, when you do your Russian turn, please edit the two german units and the Italian transport in the Red Sea next to Egypt. The German units were supposed to hop off and land in Egypt leaving the Italian transport empty.

I couldn’t get past the removing units of more than one nationality either. I can see two solutions in the upcoming turns
A. The US bomber sinks the transport, which will also clean up the two excess units on the transport.
B. I can clean up the two excess German units when we get to the German non combat move.
I predict A is more likely. :)

I did edit the game and finally managed to fix the german infantry stuck on the transport in the Red Sea. The bad news is when you go back and look at the dice rolls, they turned on you in Moscow bad and wrecked your defense. I ran the game once in local mode and ended up with one tank surviving the battle but in the real turn the dice just abused you on the first round. Maybe the dice will turn again and help you outrageously in Paris.
