@barnee I can only image. I hate cold weather now unless i feel in the mood for it. I been in -20 and up to 120. I been on both extremes. Guess only short games played for you…lol
I purchased this NEW in 1997-1998ish with the intent to play when I left for college. I ended up joining the Navy instead and it sat upstairs in my closet in my parent’s house for the last almost 2 decades.
The box of the game has slight edge wear from storage but the game has never left the box. Everything is original packaging. The rubber bands for the armies have never been removed. As shown in the picture, the Japan rubber band has broken from age but is still there.
I am looking to get into 1940. I would love to trade for either a as new Europe or Pacific 2nd edition. I hope that there is someone out there who is a classic purist who would appreciate this edition. Please PM me if this is appealing. Thank you.
It was due to the high shipping costs (close to $55)……all the Wizard of the Coast titles arrive to Greece through the U.K. and German distributors, they arn,t printed in Greece…to buy a copy in a greek store would cost you about $110,00… �
