Shoot, I was just running the calculator on Z5 and realized that I didn’t move 2 destroyers from 5 to 3 during noncom like I fully intended to do…
With battleships, Germany couldn’t even think about attacking and doing any damage to set up for J, and I don’t think this would affect the G turn at all. I also see no possible advantage since I saw your German turn, as this is between the UK, US and Japan…
I planned during my USA turn to move the 2 destroyers to 3 and then to build a boat with the Russians to defend 5.
Asking for permission to make an out of turn move to move the 2 USA destroyers to 3 now… You certainly have a right to deny… Should only serve to make your J decisions easier - if you deny the move you have a 70% chance of wiping all surface boats in 3 but at a cost of most of your air. It’s probably not a good move for you to make (unless of course you get really lucky) even without the 2 destroyers, but I wanted to take that choice off the table because I don’t want to get diced.
Your call - I need to know so I know what to purchase with Russia

Well, I actually had run the numbers too and they looked pretty good. But, I do not think that it effected my German turn so go ahead and make the change. Probably saves me from making a bad decision in attacking them.

It also means I’m spending Russian money on boats that I wouldn’t if the 2 US destroyers stayed in 5, so that’s good for you too.
Since you allowed my AA move to Bulgaria I lost my forward AA, too - maybe I shouldn’t be asking for the late moves at all…
Yeah, this way we’ll take a dicey, risky Z3 attack off the table…
As you said, would probably be a bad decision to attack them - the really important 4 UK transports are in Z5 and if you attacked Z3 the threat level would be way down on my main fleet for awhile so you’re probably better off keeping all that air that gives you so many more options than my auxiliary fleet in Z3. :-)OK then, Russia will be done soon and we will have a Russian surface ship or two to gaze at soon!
