If it won’t disappoint you too much, I think I need to concede this game: “Flip, you win!”
Thank you for the experience!!!
I don’t think there is anything I can do with this current game, however. The allies allowed Japan to morph into a monster in the hopes of crushing Germany, but instead Germany has survived to become a monster as well. I can push the pieces around some more if you want (particularly if you had some devastating move you wanted to unleash on me J10), but really the writing is on the wall at this point. The turn-for-turn economic disparity between your Axis and my Allies is disturbing to me. The allies will be soon be swept from Africa, then Europe, then Russia, and most probably the sea all within a matter of a few turns from now. I realized that subconsciously a week ago, but the sight of that massive German stack on Eastern Europe just now made me nauseated, lol!
I lost early. I had some bad dice rolls here and there, particularly my Russian attack on Ukraine when Germany first stacked there, but mostly I just made poor decisions throughout the entire game.
If you don’t mind I’m ready to move on to our next game. I’m ready immediately, but if you need a break (or want to play someone else) I will understand. I’ll play whatever side you want. I’ll also play whatever version you want. I fear the allies (particularly the Russians) are even harder to play in the second edition, however.
-
I’ll except your surrender,I think you played rather well Varn!
By no means is the game over just yet,tho I had planed on sinking the Sz5 fleet within 2 turns(bmr,s built in India this turn & another ftr,bmr on the German turn)If the Japanese don’t take it out the Germans surely do.
I really think you need to concentrate on getting(UK-US)forces to Russia.
In my opinion that way you can pressure the Japanese.I know its hard to keep control of Caucasus for the entire game but you need to stay there as long as you can.
Just something for you to think about OR NOT!
Good game Sir & whenever your ready to play again starter up(go ahead and try the Allies again with this version if you want)
Lets use Triplea tho if you don’t mind!
Let me know. -
I’ll get a game started with Triple A before the weekend then!
I’ve got to think for a bit about a new allied strategy to try, however, and I work long hours the next two days.
