Mike, my student, bought 1941 and took it to London. He played last night with his 3 housemates( one girl, no gorilla). They played for 6 hours, because they were drinking like real hard case A&A players. Mike played as Russia and US and theAllies won in 7 turns.  Think the girl thought it was too long(no pleasing some,eh!), but the boys want to go again. He is also trying to get a 4th new player. What commitment to the cause!

She is living in a house with 3 men; doing all the housework will have made her as equal as she needs.

Not much of a success story, but I bought a 2nd copy of this game and gave it to my best friend who’s been slowly getting hooked on my AA50 and 1942SE recently. He was very grateful for the game. I did not tell him that I’d rummaged it for all the good sculpts first!  :-) (obviously I replaced them with other bits)

Mike said I could have the Tigers, but as the game had not been opened, did not force the issue. I did give him 10 extra sculpts: DD, Fts and 2 panthers. I am sure they will soon. E buying 1942 as a group.

I have played A&A 4 or 5 times with my sister in law’s ex and he loves the games. He has told his flat mates and they are keen to play, so I have sold(at cost) my 2nd copy for him to take back to university.
He knows I want to hear how things go. I told him, as there are 4 of them, they could all chip in and buy another game if it proves a success.

My wife’s sister. My brother would never play A&A. Like my dad, he thinks I should stop playing with toys! I am a man now, not a boy( thAt is my dad talking).

Hi Yavid. Yes, Hauptsturmfuhrer Michael Wittmann of the 101SS Panzer Abt, killed on August 8th 1944. Greatest tank Ace ever.
