    I’m an idiot and I didn’t notice the destroyer.

    After such a lousy start, I can’t afford to make that kind of mistake.

    Would you get mad if I concede this one?  The USSR/UK shouldn’t even need US help to contain Germany/Italy, so I don’t see how I can win.

    Even without that mistake I’m about 150 IPC worth of units weaker than normal at this stage.

    If you want we can switch sides but keep the same bid I’d be willing to do that, or we could rebid.

    If you don’t like the idea of starting over, I’ll keep playing, but I don’t expect it will be much challenge.

    Nope, I am not mad about it. No point in dragging this out for a possible, more respectable win, with you not enjoying the game at all.
    I’d like to think that I made the right decisions most of the time in this game, but in the end it were the dice that did you in. Accept concession, thx for playing and I am glad we start another one. So you want allies +6, fine with that (although my Germany is lousy, it really is). Will start the thread in my evening, let me know where you want the +6.

    Thanks.  I very rarely concede so early, but first and foremost, I want to have fun in a game that can take a very long time to play to conclusion.

    I’ll use the +6 for the same bid placement, UK sub SZ98.
