BTW - I’m pretty much screwed after my failure to take Russia (a gamble anyway), so going for broke a little here…

Yeah, that Germany attack really cost you. Usually I just eyeball battles but this time I used the in house battle simulator to check my odds and I was pretty confident that Russia’s 83% chance to win would have deterred a German attack. With the Allied air support coming from China I figured I’d have about 2 turns before you could build up enough tanks in the captured Russian IC’s to have an edge in the Moscow battle.
Yep. Actually, I should’ve gone with my gut, but I used the in-game battle calculator which somehow gave me a much better odds than I thought.
BTW - I realized I didn’t scramble your FTRs after the combat move started. Let me know if you want to do the battles over / just that battle over / leave as is.
Also, your FTR I landed in Formosa, but I imagine you want to drop him in Kwangtung. Sorry for the mistakes, I’m alittle distracted with work these days.
