This is at least the third key battle I’ve lost despite being favored to win.

That’s more than fair. I’m really sorry to ask in a league game (I don’t play for standing, so if I win, you don’t need to report it).
And you never know, the you might get diced in Moscow or somewhere critical and really want a do-over.
