@Sgt-Mclusky Unlike previous renditions of A+A I find that AA40 has so many options and paths to victory that were still playing it and seeing new strategies in my group. Granted I was late to the party with this version so I don’t have years of experience, but we do play an awful lot, and almost never see the same game twice.

Put a bunch of artillery in France with some mechs in w Germany. You should be able to push off an allied invasion.

Italy can usually afford a lot of infantry and may need them.

That is one of Germany’s best options. The problem is that Russia can have a ton of units before you can even start bombing moscown

You can buy the historical board gaming 1939 global map, from what ive heard/seen its huge!! Its 4 x 8!.

San Fran is the hardest of all to get and hold.  Under Alpha 2 (probably OOB too) it is theoretically possible to get and hold it if you can do it on round 3.

Trick will be not letting the americans pull any gimmicks like taking over rome.

If you bomb the NB in Gibraltar you elimnate any USA gimmicks

If you hit more than 3 damage (and not get shot down by the AA)
