yay you remembered lol. tunesia is smart.

ya i forgot about france, sry, was only a half day delay

i’m convinced that those french will dilly dally around north africa without ever reaching egypt

  • TripleA

Yeah, we got ourselves a full plate with Europe, this is going to be rough sauce. At least we got china, uk pac, and anzac making money again… so japan will need time to get back in the game. mmm, I do think I need to buy something for the pacific soon to keep it under control.

    We will release the kraklin!

  • TripleA

If you want to finish the game up on the triple a lobby, we could do this.

  • Customizer

Comon guys, lets hurry this up.

There is absolutely no reason in the world you can not average 1 turn per day.

Turns only take 5-10 minutes, and you don’t need anything more special than an internet connection to do them.

  • TripleA

I don’t mind playing this over the lobby.

  • TripleA

Hopefully I remember to add more dots to russia.

  • Well, the actual moving of pieces does take only 5 or 10 minutes, correct. It takes longer to assess the situation, explore options, discuss with your teammate(s) (it is a team effort, after all), and crunch a few final figures to make sure you aren’t missing anything.

Add to this that sometimes life happens. I know Garg has been busy with work, and he has had some hardware issues as well, apparently. I know that, for myself, the past month has been pretty hectic. I had 4 weeks to develop a conceptual design for a computer system based on a database with well over 300,000 records, and I had to do this with a group that was too large and inexperienced to truly handle the project. I had to purchase a vehicle which means I had to go wrangle a virgin and a goat to sacrifice to the pagan gods that rule over the Department of Motor Vehicles. On top of that, I have my little bit of a social life leftover which was consumed mostly by my girlfriend being pissed off at me for not being available enough because of my increased workload just from school alone.

Yes, it took a while to do a couple turns. It’s hard to string together all the time required for your 5 to 10 minutes. I’ve apologized for that already. If that isn’t good enough for you, I don’t know what else to tell you. It isn’t as if we are bringing the whole tourney to a halt. It’s a forum game, so there is an implied time overhead associated with it. When we are the sole reason the tournament is being dragged to a halt or you haven’t at least received a courtesy “hold please” for a good space of time, you can ask for forfeit. In the mean time, unless you wish to become my personal assistant or give me the pussy I need to remain sane, please remain calm and exercise some patience.

damn, you guys put lots of thought into your turns. I just pick a general overall strategy and go with it lol.

  • TripleA

It is a dice game so can’t really predict exact outcomes like a low luck game. Sometimes you just got to roll and pray!

  • It’s the seven P’s, man: Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance

  • TripleA

Maybe… but it is a dice game, I just prefer to make an aggressive push and take chances. LL games everything has to be done right, so I can understand that.

The thing is you guys are the axis… germany/italy is on one half and is pretty close to winning the game… japan is pretty far from winning the game… I don’t see the hold up.

  • TripleA

like I was doing my own thing right, then veqryn was like hey don’t do that, figure something else out, and so I did. I am magical like that. :)

  • TripleA

Like this turn I can understand, because it is a crossroad turn that determines the scope of the next 5 rounds (well at least from my perspective).

  • TripleA

It is funny, I sent veqryn a bunch of messages predicting the german turn and what we should look out for.

This game I actually communicated to veqryn exact piece movements… last game I communicated “you should win the game” That was pretty much it lol. Like a series of messages requesting some winning lol.

  • TripleA

Veqryn and I have polar opposite play styles, it is funny. I thought I would drive him nuts by now. I guess Veqryn figured out that I am just nuts and silly, my handle is Cow after all. Some people get annoyed by me, find me to be aggressive, others like veqryn understand that I am just silly.

I like to rush toward stuff and rushing does not work unless the whole team goes with it. I think next game I will be more chill.
